Civil Rights activist, social critic, writer, comedian, entrepreneur and actor Dick Gregory passed away yesterday, age 84. He represents the definition of what it means to be ikonic - bold, fearless and legendary. Gregory received his big break in 1961 when he got booked at the Playboy Club in Chicago to replace comedian Irwin Corey for a night and the rest is history. He used his fame and success to bring awareness to the controversial issues of the world. He told his story and made HIStory, Rest in Peace, Dick Gregory!
