DaBaby Releases His New Album 'Kirk,' Another Inevitable Top Charting Album

DaBaby, the breakout artist of 2019, releases his highly anticipated album Kirk. The top charting and extremely personal single “Intro” introduced the world to his diary-like candidness. More than a club-anthem hit maker, this introduction record proves that he’s not afraid to leave pieces of his life on the track and also sets the tone for what to expect from this next project. The official track-list released a couple of days ago and the star-studded feature line up ignited the masses.

Through and through this is another noteworthy addition to add to his catalog, Baby on Baby, was the light and this new album the fuse. He kicks the album off solo, allowing listeners to relish in his natural knack for carrying a record by himself. Bouncy anticipated tracks like “Off the Rip” and “Bop” gift us that cocky vivaciousness we expected. However, as the album sifts into records like “Gospel” featuring Chance the Rapper, Gucci Mane & YK Osiris, he yet again reveals his ability to genre bend. As the album continues he drops off imminent bangers like “iPhone” featuring Nicki Minaj, “Toes” featuring Lil Baby & Moneybagg Yo and “Raw S***” featuring Migos.

Never a milquetoast when it comes to his music, this body of work isn’t just impressive but a quick, hit-doused follow up to his March album release. The Charlotte MC is here to stay.

Which track will be your favorite, it’s hard to choose; indulge below.
